Estrela da Kidixi strengthens water storage capacity and starts passion fruit production in Kiminha

The water tank/reservoir is currently in the final phase of construction, representing an important investment in improving the farm's water storage capacity and the management of its water resources.

With a capacity of approximately 150,000 litres of water, the infrastructure is expected to play a fundamental role in supporting agricultural activities, ensuring greater water availability for the crops and improving the regularity of the unit's irrigation system.

As part of its production diversification strategy, Estrela da Kidixi has also carried out the planting of passion fruit in an area of 20 by 50 metres, corresponding to 1,000 square metres.

The new plot was specifically prepared for the crop and is already in its development phase, marking the unit's entry into a new front of agricultural production.

The commitment to passion fruit is part of the company's effort to diversify crops and progressively expand its production capacity, exploring crops with consumption potential in the national market and, in the future, for processing and commercialisation.

The construction of the reservoir and the implementation of the new passion fruit area are part of a broader development process for the Kiminha branch, focused on creating better conditions for agricultural production and the sustainable use of the available areas.

The completion of the reservoir is expected to significantly strengthen the farm's operational capacity, while passion fruit cultivation represents another step in the diversification of Estrela da Kidixi's agricultural activities.

With these initiatives, the company reaffirms its commitment to developing agricultural production, valuing the land and creating the conditions for an increasingly structured and productive farming activity in Icolo e Bengo.
